Accurate Touch

Refine the Precision, Perception and Depth of Your Functional Integration® Skills.

You’re Invited!

September 17 – 23, 2025
Potash Hill, Marlboro, VT

An intimate intensive for Feldenkrais Practitioners, recent grads and trainees. With Jeff Haller, Candy Conino and Andrew Gibbons

The most effective Feldenkrais Practitioners use touch not only as a technique, but as a gateway to perception, potential, and trust. Skilled touch is our most direct form of sensation and communication. It crosses the threshold from information to embodiment, helps us ask clearer questions, sense what’s needed, and shape the feedback that sparks real, lasting change for both practitioner and client. It’s how clients rediscover their sense of curiosity and optimism—and why they return to invest in it.

Join Jeff Haller, Candy Conino and Andrew Gibbons for this immersive retreat that will deepen your skill and transform your touch in Functional Integration lessons. Held on the serene campus of Potash Hill in southern Vermont, this five-and-a-half day intensive will help you develop the clarity and confidence that support a thriving practice.

Our Work Together

In formal practice, FI demonstrations, case studies, and professional dialogue, we’ll expand our vocabulary of touch so that it guides, specifies and supports real change. The group will work to:

  • Create a space of collaborative attention and awareness with clients.

  • Distinguish between perceptive and directive qualities of touch.

  • Integrate your posture and self-organization so that your contact integrates a dynamic background of support and precision.

  • Blend verbal direction with tactile feedback for clients.

  • Teach clients how to sense and engage with the experience of touch to enhance their experience in lessons.

  • Work through the conditions of muscle tone, inertia, skeletal contact, breathing and safety to improve a client’s coordination.

  • Shape and enhance the strategic thinking within a lesson.

  • Connect your contact in one aspect of a client while you observe another, to create coordination that is richly sensed, evenly distributed and skillfully timed.

  • Understand the strategic stages of waiting while in supportive contact with your client.

  • Qualify a client’s receptivity and readiness for change.

Reconnect with the heart of the Feldenkrais Method.

Unlike a commuter-style workshop, the retreat offers us a special environment to go deeper in our work. The peaceful surroundings and shared meals create a calm, sustained focus to connect with our colleagues and peers, with plenty of time for informal practice and after-hours conversation that are invaluable for growth. And the mid-September temperatures are perfect for outdoor walks on the lovely campus and its many trails!

Special Bonus!

All attendees will receive access to Jeff’s online series, The Art & Practice of Functional Integration—a $2,600 value!

This will give you the opportunity to continue working with Jeff both before and after the retreat, to solidify your skills, refine your questions, and continue to deepen the professional dialogue about your progress.
